CRESTVIEW WATER POLO TEAM TAKES CHAMPIONSHIP

COMMUNITY ,EVENTS ,NEWS

Crestview Academy's water polo team has truly slain its competition this season, winning its unprecedented 15th national championship in a row by a score of 14 to 0 over underdog St. Edwards. Granted, this season the Apaches played the majority of their matches against schools with virtually no budget to support or develop a water polo team that could compete with Crestview. Many members of opposing teams found themselves treading in deep waters without equestrian transport, making it almost impossible to compete with the steeds trained and used for competition by Crestview.

“We've always had the best polo team. But now that we have trained our steeds to work their magic in the natatorium, we're the best water polo team on the planet!” Gloats Richard Hamptons Vanmalet, III. “We plan to maintain this title permanently.” Vanmalet is technically the team's towel boy, but is confident that, in time, he may be invited to help compete.
Still, others doubt whether the team can hold its championship if they were to let the towel boy in on a match. It's not that he can't swim. He's just afraid of horses.
